I purchased this product from Canadian Tire. At the time of purchase, I confirmed with staff that it carried a lifetime warranty and the packaging also indicated this. This was a key reason for choosing this set.
Within months of normal home use, both pans developed a warped base and no longer sit flat on the stovetop. Oil and water collect to one side, causing uneven heating. This is clearly a structural issue rather than normal wear.
When I contacted customer service, I was told the product is now considered to have only a one-year exchange period and that without the original packaging showing the warranty statement, it would not be reviewed. Customers should not be expected to keep large boxes indefinitely to prove warranty coverage, especially when the warranty was represented at the time of purchase.
This inconsistency between what was communicated at purchase and the support now provided is very disappointing. I hope the company will review this case and ensure warranty information is clear and honoured.
